Our next event is on February 15th, come along for Boogie Bingo! Tickets are £15 each or 4 for £50 and include a glass of Prosecco or a soft drink each.  Tickets can be purchased here

All profits go towards Burwell Carnival costs meaning we can give more funds out to Burwell Community groups. Last year we gave out over £5000 to more than 20 local groups.

Carnival 2024 was on the 28th and 29th June 2024 at Burwell Recreation Ground. The event was attended by over 3500 people. On Friday night we held a pet show and silent disco starting from 5pm. On Saturday we had our themed parade - Transport, from 1.00pm, making it's way to the Recreation Ground. The parade started at the top of The Causeway, turning left into Hythe Lane and straight onto The Recreation Ground up to our stage area.

On the recreation ground we had our Carnival bar, fantastic entertainment from bands and dance groups, fairground rides, inflatables, craft stalls and food vendors along with so much more to enjoy on-the-day. We had live music and performers throughout the afternoon and evening until after 10pm. Our headliners were High Rollers and Diggin' for Diamonds bringing top quality live entertainment with a repertoire spanning the decades and genres. We also enjoyed a set from the The Riffugees, a 4 piece Classic, Blues and Southern Rock covers band.

Our Carnival bar sold real ale from Burwell Brewery & cider from Spinney Abbey, lager and Pimms by the jug/glasses, along with wine, Prosecco, spirits & soft drinks. Our very own Burwell Belles - WI, provided hot drinks & refreshments sharing our bar marquee and we also had a wide choice of food vendors on the field. We had a fantastic range of craft and community stalls.
