Our Carnival Market Place opens from 12noon and currently includes upwards of 30 stalls, community and information stands as well as face-painters and glitter tattoos. We’ll also have Kilo who is an active artist across the modern Street Art scene, producing high quality commercial artwork in the form of murals, illustration, live performance and multi-media. Do please browse the market and hopefully make a purchase!

And please don’t forget to purchase your raffle tickets ‘on-the-day’ (or in advance from The Fox Pub) to be in with a chance of winning some cracking prizes and help our fundraising efforts – thank you!

Carnival attractions include inflatables, activities and some fair rides. Gray’s Funfair and JP Bouncy Castles will be on site with a number of rides and inflatables. And we’re delighted that once again Shredder Skate School will be holding their yearly skate competition.

The stage opens this year with an awards ceremony for the Carnival King and Queen and prizes for various categories in the parade. Following the presentations, we will have a fabulous entertainment line-up on the stage, provisionally as follows (timings are approximate and subject to change).

We’re hugely proud to welcome back Sophie and the talented Performance Without Limits (PWL) group, who this year celebrate their tenth anniversary.

3.30pm
The Atomics will be powering through the afternoon session with their energetic combination of power pop, 70’s and 80’s classics as well as New Waves gems.

Alisha - a tremendous vocalist delivering classic female hits from artists including Dusty Springfield through Kate Nash and Taylor Swift.

7.30pm
Following the tremendous success of last year and in response to a number of requests, we welcome back the wonderful Mister E with his eclectic mixture of soul, rat pack and even opera classics.

9.30pm
Closing the stage this year, we have the honour of presenting one of the finest cover acts in the country. Led by Burwell’s own Phil Watts and fresh from their recent supporting role with Jason Donovan, the great Back To The 80’s bring their amazing show, featuring astonishing vocals and brilliant reproductions of the greatest hits of the decade. Expect a jam-packed set of classics to take us right through to 11pm and last orders.
